Good news from Rio de Janeiro

The New Horizon project has been a joy and hope for us. It serves two hundred at risk children, weekly, and  it envolves one public school, three local churches, and twenty christian volunteers.

Craig and I help by engaging strategic church leaders, catalysing their envolvement in social ministries. My part (Ale's part) is to assist in planning, organizing and managing the project.

Children have available several types of classes: English, Portuguese, Math, Dance, Music, Sewing, Reading, Sports and Bible Study. All classes use the methodologhy of education by biblical principles.

Proverbs 22:6 - "Train up a child in the way he should go."
Proverbs 1:7-9 - "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of understanding."
Deuteronomy 6:7  -"Teach them diligently. "
